Julia McAfee is a 5th-year graduate student in the Cliff Stains Lab where she is working on the development of photoacoustic contrast agents for the detection of Acute Myeloid Leukemia though ultrasound. After graduating, she plans on going into industry to work on diagnostics and precision medicine technology.
