WHAT DOES YOUR POSITION ENTAIL?
As secretary I am responsible for logistics, like booking rooms for meetings/events, and for communicating information via email.
HOW LONG HAVE YOU BEEN INVOLVED WITH LEAD?
I began coming to LEAD meetings my first year! I got selected to secretary this year.
WHY DID YOU GET INVOLVED?
I was involved in science outreach in ungrad and found it really fulfilling, so I wanted to keep participating in graduate school. It is also a neat way to meet other grad students in the department.
